Mission

Cura manages dining services with the ultimate goal of Enhancing Life Around Great Food. We recognize the unique needs of each client and respond with customized services and programs that deliver the highest possible quality at the lowest possible cost. Through a high-touch corporate structure, we will remain responsive to evolving needs. Through employee co-ownership, we will encourage dedication and involvement, and constantly evaluate new ideas, processes and strategies for reducing costs and improving quality, customer satisfaction and value to our clients. In all facets, we will be guided by our core "care of the soul" commitment to all stakeholders.

Vision and Values

Our cornerstone values will generate unique advantages for clients, customers and employees.

Externally, we will:

  • Stay close to clients and customers – in person;
  • Customize our services to satisfy client and customer needs and tastes; and
  • Treat clients and customers with respect, honesty and dignity.

Internally, we are committed to an empowered work force through policies that:

  • Provide intensive employee training;
  • Practice "open book management" to encourage the front line
    to focus on the bottom line;
  • Give our people the power to make decisions quickly;
  • Allow every full-time employee to participate in company ownership and
    to share our success; and
  • Reward our people for living by our "5 & 5" rule: managers will be encouraged to spend time in local volunteer activities; Cura will contribute at least 5 percent of our profits to charities that most efficiently bring assistance, hope and joy to children, families and older adults who are in need.
