WHAT:Cura Hospitality Executive Chef William (Bill) Hockenberry of Shenango Presbyterian Senior Care (New Wilmington, PA) will educate children ages 12-17 attending the Royal Family Kids Camp on the benefits of healthier eating through a unique cooking demonstration featuring foods that contain less fat and sodium, a low glycemic index, a greater source of fiber and powerful antioxidants that may help to fight off disease.  Featured foods include:  chicken and sesame noodles, hummus, tabbouleh and strawberry basil sorbet.  Chef Bill will also address healthy eating on the run, healthy snacks for kids and nutrition facts vs. myths.

Chef Bill is well known for his recent win during an “Iron-Style” Chefs Challenge sponsored by the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) at its national meeting and exhibition held at the Philadelphia Convention Center, October 12-15, 2008.
